The Sarasota Police Department, in partnership with the @[587294288365502:274:Parks and Recreation District - City of Sarasota], is inviting the community to a free community ‘Blue + You BBQ’ on Sunday January 12, 2020, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Arlington Park & Aquatic Complex, 2650 Waldemere Street, Sarasota.
It’s an opportunity for residents to come out, grab a bite to eat and meet their local Sarasota Police officers. There will be free food, juice, water, face painting, and family friendly games and prizes provided by the City of Sarasota Parks and Recreation. There will also be police vehicles on display.
“This is an opportunity for us to connect with our community, foster relationships and build trust with those who we serve and protect every day,” said Chief Bernadette DiPino.
Additional community barbecue events are scheduled for:
April 2020 – Robert L. Taylor Community Complex
