Encore, encore! For the fourth year in a row, Sarasota Opera will be hosting the Taste of Downtown Food & Wine Festival on Saturday, September 30 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Your favorite downtown restaurants will take the main stage and showcase their best dishes paired with fine wines, assorted beers, and specialty cocktails.

In addition to delectable foods, you will also enjoy a special performance by Sarasota Youth Opera, all proceeds benefit the Youth Orchestra.
Since 1984, Sarasota Youth Opera has given thousands of children the opportunity to experience opera firsthand through after-school choruses, summer workshops, Sarasota Opera main stage productions, and fully-staged Youth Opera productions. Not only are they the only program in the country committed to presenting annual full-scale opera production for youth voices, but the Sarasota Youth Opera also accepts all who wish to participate regardless of skill level or ability to pay.
