Tampa Beer Lovers, Rejoice! | WaZoo 2011 at Lowry Park Zoo

This one's for you, Tampa hopheads.  On August 6th, Lowry Park Zoo will host their 16th annual WaZoo celebration; a classic beer, food, and live entertainment celebration  named one of the top 10 beer festivals in the country by USA Today.

This year's WaZoo runs from 7:30 till 10:30 p.m., BUT those with Beastly Beverage Club passes will be able to enter the park 45 minutes earlier than everyone else to indulge in the over 250 beverages from around the world and local cuisine featured at WaZoo.

What's a Beastly Beverage Club pass, you ask?

It's basically a VIP pass you can purchase granting you this early entrance time, exclusive access to the only air conditioned space at the event, the Safari Lodge, featuring its own DJ, extra food, and specialty beers.  1,000 of these tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis so get 'em before they're gone.

Other attractions at WaZoo include live entertainment on four different stages throughout the park, delicious cuisine from a number of local eateries, and over 250 beverages from all around the world.

Tickets will go on sale June 1st through the WaZoo website (here) and June 20th for phone or in-person purchases.
