To read more about them visit our website.Welcome to the Venice Performing Arts Center- Where Arts and Education Meet. The Venice Performing Arts Center (VPAC) was a joint project between the city of Venice and the Sarasota County School Board. First opening its doors for its 2014-2015 Inaugural Season and boasting a 1,090-seat multi-level auditorium, VPAC is the largest performing arts venue in the Venice area. Due to the unique location near Historic Downtown Venice and being adjacent to the Venice High School allows it to truly be a place where arts and education meet.
In January of 2017, the Venice Institute for Performing Arts (VIPA) was contracted by the Sarasota County School Board to be the management company for the VPAC. The Institute is a non-profit production company specifically created to support the beautiful Venice Performing Arts Center. With a mission to sustain the local arts community through innovative educational programs, and inspire the community with first- class entertainment, VIPA brings over 30 professional shows through the VPAC each year.
The VPAC is also home to three Performing Arts Organizations- The Venice Symphony, The Venice Concert Band, and The Venice Chorale. Each organization brings fantastic performances to audiences throughout the winter season.
