Calling all South Venice Alligator Creek neighbors! We are the Science and Environment Council, a collaborative group of 35 local environmental organizations working to protect and improve the environment: www.scienceandenvironment.org.
Event Details
We're hosting a free neighborhood BBQ at South Venice Yacht Club to encourage awareness of how neighbors can enjoy and protect Alligator Creek and Lemon Bay.
Come enjoy free BBQ burgers, music, and guided kayak tours. We'll have tents and tables with environmental information from our partners. We can't wait to show you how to connect with our beautiful local waters and what you can do as an Alligator Creek neighbor to protect the creek, the bay, and its wildlife!
Please consider walking or biking. Limited street parking is available or take the free shuttle from South Venice Civic Association parking lot. Help us reduce plastic waste - please bring your own refillable water bottle.
