Artist Series Concerts: “Quarantine Creations: How the Pandemic Opened Doors and Bridged Worlds”

April 17, 3:00 pm and April 18, 7:00 pm
Fischer/Weisenborne Residence, 7459 Cabbage Palm Court, Sarasota, FL 34241

For cellist Natalie Helm and pianist Jesse Martins, the exploration of non-standard repertoire from familiar composers, uncharted genre crossing territory, and the introduction of iMovie into everyday life were true highlights of the endless creative period we call “quarantine.” The ability to “meet” and collaborate with current composers, mentors, colleagues, and students from all over the world became possible, and even normal. Join us as they take us through their quarantine creations and exhibit how the virtual world has influenced, inspired, and even enhanced their performances today.

Tickets: $54 available at ArtistSeriesConcerts.org or by calling 941-306-1202 Monday-Friday 10 am-4pm.
