HotWorks.org presents Sarasota Fine Art Show, November 14 & 15, 2020, outdoors at Phillippi Estate Park in south Sarasota. This is a high-quality, juried fine art and fine craft shows where all work is original and personally handmade by the artist who is in the show. The event brings much positive national exposure and economic impact into the area; it is the perfect community event to be part of.
Event is open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm. The focus is visual arts and features fine art and fine crafts created by award-winning artists from around the world with all discipline for sale – paintings, clay, glass, sculpture, fiber, wood, jewelry and more – all juried by art professionals. There is something for everyone in all price ranges. Great food from local area restaurants and music add to the ambiance of this beautiful show.
The associated 501c3 non-profit arm, Institute for the Arts & Education, focuses on visual arts, cultural diversity, community enrichment and fostering art education among youth. As part of our commitment to bring art education into the community, the Youth Art Competition for ages 5-13 is integrated within the art show. This program encourages students to enter his/her original art that is publicly displayed in the art show the entire weekend. On Sunday at 3pm, there is $250 Youth Art Awards presented at the show as young artists are exposed to the rules and entrepreneurship of doing art shows for a living. Each youth art winner also receives the same, two-foot long colorful gorgeous ribbon that the professional artists receive. (We are looking for a sponsor for this area.)
There is free admission; Phillippi Estate Park provides plenty of easy-breezy free parking for all. Optional donation supports Institute for the Arts & Education, Inc.Professional Artist Award winner Marvin "Murf" Murphy show with Artist Judge Rick Austin and Show Director Patty Narozny
