Description
Art Making takes place in the Visitor's Pavilion, where our Children's Welcome Center is transformed into an art studio. We provide the materials, you provide the vision. All ages are encouraged to participate!
Event Details
Images of fish can be found throughout the Center for Asian Art as they are an important symbol in both China and Japan. Today, we will be creating our own fish images using paint and rubber fish replicas through a method called gyotaku, a traditional Japanese method of printing fish which has now transitioned into a beautiful art form.
