For the 15th year, Sarasota Jungle Gardens will create great family memories as it hosts the Holiday Lights Spectacular celebration. Opening night is Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. and the celebration continues from 6 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 10, 16 & 17, 21-24 and 26-30.

It wouldn’t be the holidays without dazzling light displays, and Sarasota Jungle Gardens will make your holidays bright for most nights in December. For the 15th year, Sarasota Jungle Gardens will create great family memories as it hosts the Holiday Lights Spectacular celebration. Opening night is Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. and the celebration continues from 6 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 10, 16 & 17, 21-24 and 26-30. The gardens are located at 3701 Bay Shore Road, Sarasota, FL 34234.
On those nights, the Gardens are transformed into a Holiday Wonderland. The traditional, family friendly event offers a myriad of joy-filled activities such as strolling down “Candy Cane Lane,” roasting marshmallows, and many more holiday activities. Santa will be there for those treasured family photos and festive music will have your family singing along.
Live entertainment takes place in the bird pavilion twice each evening at 7 and 8 p.m. Magician/comedian Nathan Coe Marsh and other entertainers return again this year with new shows to delight audiences of all ages. The famous Jungle Gardens birds will be available for having your photo taken with and the flamingos can be fed, too. Sandwiches, snacks and drinks will be available for purchase in the café.
Adult admission is $11 and children 3 to 12 are $6. Children two years old and younger are free. Taxes are not included, and coupons, discounts and other offers are not valid for this special event. Tickets are available for advance purchase on the website www.SarasotaJungleGardens.com ; on-line orders can be picked up at will call at the Gardens or mailed.
