In 1989 Vasco & Teresa Ferraro from Naples, Italy came to Lutz, Florida and opened Villaggio Ristorante Italiano bringing authentic Napoletana cuisine to the area.
In 1999, Giuseppe Mascali, (of Sicilian origin), but raised in Torino (north), Italy, became the new proprietor of Villaggio's. A master chef, Giuseppe has honed his skills at some of the finest restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. He has been associated with such acclaimed restaurants as Francesco, Primadonna, Caffe' Amaretto, Donatello & Lauro.
So welcome to Villaggio Ristorante Italiano as Giuseppe proudly carries on the Villaggio tradition of serving authentic Italian cuisine.
