Veterans' Monument Park

Veteran's Monument Park was built as a tribute to those who served the in the United States Armed Forces. This small park is adjacent to Manatee Memorial Hospital along the Bradenton Riverwalk. It contains several monuments in honor of our nation's troops, including a memorial to troops from Manatee County who perished in the Vietnam War, a memorial to the Korean War veterans and a pyramid-shaped monument to all the branches of the United States Armed Forces. This is a passive park without recreational amenities; it's a solemn reminder of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. There is a public ceremony at the park every Memorial Day morning.
