About Englewood
Englewood is a town that is shared by both Sarasota and Charlotte Counties. A beach town, Englewood is home to many picturesque beaches and barrier islands such as Manasota Key, a 7-mile stretch of land home to beaches such as Englewood Beach, Manasota Beach, Stump Pass Beach and Blind Pass Beach. Its beaches remain relatively uncrowded and seem almost untouched by time with quaint, 50's style beach homes that dot the beach paths. Englewood is also home to numerous parks such as Ann Dever Memorial Regional Park, Lemon Bay Park and Nature Center and Cedar Point Environmental Park. Popular things to do at these parks in Englewood include canoeing, kayaking and fishing.
