Event Details
One of the most popular, annual festivals on Anna Maria Island is Bayfest, a celebration of music, food, arts and crafts. This is Anna Maria Island’s largest and longest running music, crafts, car show and food festival. The 17th annual Bayfest is Saturday, October 21st from 10am-9pm on Pine Avenue. This is an entrance free, family-friendly, public event.
All of Pine Avenue is closed off to showcase local area arts and craft vendors, and an AMAZING car show with over 100 classic, muscle, antique and street cars sponsored by LaPensee Plumbing, Pools, Air. Come and witness the “Best in Show” contest. The car show runs from 10am-3pm.
There will also be a Kids Zone brought to you by AMI Health & Fitness with all kinds of fun games, bounce houses and more.

In addition, our food court will highlight some of the best regional specialties provided by our local vendors and restaurants. Come out and sample a variety of delicious dishes. Bayfest features some of the best food all day as well as beer, wine, rum runners, margaritas and soft drinks. Here are just some of the best regional specialties we will be serving up from local vendors and restaurants:
Hurricane Hanks – poutine (great fries with gravy and cheese curds) & clam chowder
Poppo’s Taqueria – featuring their infamous street tacos with all the fresh fixin’s
Rocky Top Concessions – hot dogs, corn dogs, Italian sausage & peppers, nachos, French fries
Subz n Grubz – grub balls, fried shrimp baskets, lobster mac & cheese, crab cake bites
T & L BBQ – cooking up their award winning ribs and southern soul food
The Schnitzel Trailer (an October favorite)– serving traditional German brats, currywurst, Vienna style pork schnitzel and homemade goulasch soup
Tyler’s Homemade Ice Cream – a local favorite serving decadent creamery treats - something no festival would be complete without
The Feast – serving their popular coconut shrimp & conch fritters
Village Idiot Pizzeria – baked pizza
The Waterfront Restaurant – featuring their island famous group
