Tampa Bay Margarita & Music Festival 2019
If you’re looking to get away this weekend, but you don’t want to go too far from Sarasota, head up to Tampa for the margarita and music festival. Live music, games, and shopping will be available at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park on May 25. Top artists include Nelly, Cold War, Kids, Asylum, and more! Food choices and margaritas are sure to satisfy you throughout the day with a finale of fireworks to close out the night. These festivities are just for adults older than 21, and they start at 12 p.m. and end at 11 p.m.
Siesta Key Village is going all out to honor Memorial Day. Put on your best red, white, and blue outfit and join the celebration. Starting at 9 p.m. on May 26, check out the Sarasota area’s favorite hangouts including Daiquiri Deck, Siesta Key Oyster Bar, and more. Relax with a night of drinks and fun with other locals.

Visit the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on May 25 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. You must be 21 years or older to attend. 3rd Annual St. Armands Seafood & Music Festival
For a wonderful day of relaxation, you’ll want to be at St. Armands Circle Park on any day this weekend between 4 p.m. on May 24 and to 6 p.m. on May 26. You’ll be able to listen to live music, enjoy amazing food, and shop unique arts and crafts. Best of all, this event is free!
Rex Floyd: Tribute to Pink Floyd
On May 24, go to Sarasota Sky for an authentic musical tribute to Pink Floyd. Performed by Rex Floyd, you’ll also experience a laser video presentation that honors the albums that Pink Floyd is known for. If you have ever been a fan of this iconic band, you’ll love this Sarasota event. Tickets are only $10!
Nathan Benderson Park is hosting three options for fun and fitness this on May 25. Beginning at 11 a.m., you can choose to paddle 5K, run 5K, or show off your stamina by participating in both races. Benefits from these events will go to Operation Second Chance which supports veterans recovering in military hospitals as well as their families during recovery.
