Appreciate creativity and artistic talent in the community this weekend at the Selby Library. Bringing together artists local to Sarasota, this incredible tournament challenges participants to transform a blank canvas into something beautiful, and they have only 20 minutes to do it! The event starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, and your $40 ticket includes finger foods and half-off drinks. After the tournament, you can take one of the amazing creations home by bidding and winning your favorite in the silent auction.
16th Annual St. Armands Circle Art Festival
This free event in Sarasota this weekend celebrates artists from around the nation and the globe. Booths will line St. Armands Circle gallery-style, and the art will feature different mediums including sculptures, jewelry, fashion, and paintings. Beginning at 10 a.m. on January 26 and 27, walk among the artistic pieces and purchase one or more to take home with you.

25th Sarasota Highland Games & Celtic Festival
Visit the Sarasota County Fairgrounds on Saturday, January 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and be transported to the highlands of Scotland this weekend. Celebrating culture, history, music, and food, this event allows Sarasota locals to gather and honor their Scottish heritage. There will be athletic events and tournaments, traditional Scottish dancing, and other activities. Bring your whole family out for an educational and fun event in Sarasota this weekend.
