16th Annual Endless Summer Nights | Dinner Party & Gala
On September 19, IMG Academy is hosting an event where you will have the opportunity to find a new favorite wine, participate in a silent auction, and win raffles. The dinner party and auction begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 10:30 p.m. The proceeds benefit the Foundation for Dreams and Dream Oaks Camp. They celebrate kids with unique needs as well as those struggling with chronic illnesses.
Frances Newton Culinary Institute
Interested in doing more than just eating delicious food? Do you find pride in creating culinary wonders that please the palate and nourish the body? Head over to Historic Spanish Point on September 19 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. to discover new ways of cooking natural, healthy ingredients into dishes the entire family will love. These educational cooking sessions are $15 and just $10 for those who are already members. Find out how to spice up your everyday meals.
Looking for an event that focuses more on the drinks but still has the food? Join Key Culinary Tours on John Ringling Boulevard in Sarasota for creative cocktails made with craft beverages. International Flavors of Sarasota Food Tour
Sarasota’s State Street is bringing diverse flavor and international cultures to you. Participating downtown restaurants will offer unique cuisine and fabulous atmospheres. For just $69.95 per person, you can experience a sample of what the community has to offer. Food and gratuities are included in the cost. This event takes place on September 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Joyland in Bradenton will hold this year’s Cowboy Hoedown. From 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., head out to this country dance club. Hosted by the Sarasota FFA Alumni, this fundraiser will also have line dancing from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Rebel Heart will start at 9 p.m. If you are looking for a way to experience country music in a whole new way, you won’t want to miss this Bradenton event!
Fall is coming! For Florida, it isn’t a huge change, but it isn’t Fall without Oktoberfest. This fall Darwin Brewing Company in Bradenton is putting a twist on the average Oktoberfest. They will collaborate with other local dives to create a unique menu including amazing meat. Live music and a photo booth will be available throughout the afternoon of September 21 beginning at 2 p.m.
