STLR Media Presents Fortunate Youth w/ Resinated, Summer Survivors & DJ Badda Skat
Fortunate Youth is a collaboration of South Bay reggae stand-outs. Rising from various bands, they've created a phenomenal 6-piece masterpiece bringing more fire to the stage than ever before July 7 and 8. Resinated from St. Petersburg, FL is a four-piece pop band with reggae and funk influences. Formed in 2013, Summer Survivors is a rock and roll band with reggae and punk rock influences. The Badda Skat Band is a four-piece roots reggae band that strives to promote a conscious and positive message in their music. Tickets are limited, so get yours today!
Kettle of Fish Productions and Kelly's Live is bringing back Sarasota Summer Jam on July 21! Relive the Watkins Glen Summer Jam with performances by: Tony Tyler performing the music of the Allman Brothers, Kettle of Fish performing the music of the Band, and Ship of Fools performing the music of the Grateful Dead.
This eight-piece band features three grammy-nominated musicians and plays a high-energy set of both original songs and classic covers of funk and soul music. On Friday, July 27, Reverend Barry & The Funk will be performing on the Bayside Lawn of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall for free! From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., there will be food trucks, beverage vendors, and live music to enjoy throughout the evening.

One man band, solo act, collaborator, and producer Rev RC is on tour now and performing in Sarasota all summer. If you’re into reggae, rock, roots, rhythm, or dub, check out Ryan Carney’s music at a location near you!

Jon McLaughlin
American pop rock singer-songwriter, producer, and pianist Jonathan McLaughlin will be performing throughout this summer in Sarasota. You can find him every Sunday at State Street Eating House + Cocktails and every Wednesday at Art Ovation Hotel.
Jah Movement
"Florida's Best Live Reggae Band" is made up of some of the greatest musicians in Southwest Florida. Jah Movement launched in May 2015 and quickly took over the local reggae scene. Starting in June, Jah Movement will be performing every Thursday at The Gator Club through August. JMRB will also be performing all over Sarasota all summer, so make sure to check out a show near you!

Ari and the Alibis
Since forming in September 2013, Ari and the Alibis have created original, memorable music by infusing funk, jazz, and samba with blues, soul, and rock. Their high-energy live shows have taken them all over the US and, lucky for us, Ari and the Alibis will be coming to Sarasota and performing at The Blue Rooster on June 15, July 13, and August.
