Sarasota is calling all whiskey lovers! With the largest whiskey festival in the United States, whiskey connoisseurs absolutely love the annual Whiskey Obsession Festival. This year, it's coming back six years strong April 11-14.
For six years now, the festival has brought the crowds an immense amount of entertainment and fun! When you arrive, you can expect so much more than just whiskey. There will be four days of classes, VIP pours, tastings of hundreds of whiskeys, bartender academy, cigars, and not to mention the live music street party!
You undoubtedly won't want to miss out on this festival! You will walk away with so much more knowledge about whiskey with the teachings and passionate discussions from the professional brand ambassadors.
Also, if you are a fan of cigars, there will be a cigar pairing class, as well as an elegant dinner pairing. Learn what to drink with what you smoke and with what you eat!
The Whiskey Obsession Festival will be held in April, from the 11th through the 14th. Last year's festival had many reviewers raving about the live music and concerts, and of course, the education of whiskeys! The Grand Tasting is located at Michael's On East, at 1212 East Avenue South, in the Midtown Plaza. The plaza is on the corner of US 41 and Bahia Vista Street.
If you are traveling from out of town, for this well-worth-it trip, the festival is partnering exclusively with Aloft Sarasota, offering you discounted rooms. The room deals run through February 24th so book now before this deal ends!
Of course, you will need to arrange transportation since we do not want anyone to be drinking and driving. Because of this, the Whiskey Obsession Festival has a side for Uber rides to get yourself the first ride for free. Not only that, the code ensures that you, being an Uber client will help prevent and treat child abuse in Sarasota County! The code is uberCPCRIDES.
Check out the whole list of whiskeys, event list or purchase your tickets and snag yourself a spot! We hope to see you there, at the Whiskey Obsession Festival!
