Ken & Barb’s Grove City Kitchen is a large restaurant located on Oyster Creek in Englewood Florida. Formerly the location of the Blue Lagoon restaurant which was popular in the early 2000s and then sat empty for many years. The owners completely refurbished the entire restaurant in 2019 for an early 2020 opening. Inside you’ll find reclaimed wood finishes, old corrugated tin detail and whitewashed columns. Outside you can eat and drink at the picnic table style bar overlooking the lagoon, relax on the patio style couches under the outdoor tin roof or play a game of bocce ball out front. Ken & Barb’s is chef owned and offers a pub style menu with lots of apps, sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers and more. Dinner time adds a constantly evolving menu that allows the chef to be creative while using the freshest seafood and seasonal ingredients. The menu offers plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options and the chef is always happy to work with any other dietary requests. Kids are always welcome and can dine off the under twelve menu.
