Widely regarded as the "Godfather of Hip-Hop" in the Bay area, DJ Sandman has been doing Hip-Hop for over seventeen years! Everything from rapping, ripping up turntables at parties and being one of the first promoters to bring Hip-Hop shows to Tampa; DJ Sandman has done it all! Sandman has always kept his ear to the concrete and that's how stays in touch with the hottest sounds from the streets. He has opened for the likes of The Roots, Wu-Tang Clan, Robin Thicke, Scarface, KRS-One, Black Moon, Smif N Wessun, Pitbull, De La Soul, T.I., Busta Rhymes, and many others, and has also been featured in The Source magazine. Now you can catch the Godfather on Club 95.7 (95.7 The Beat -Tampa) every Friday Night (11pm-1am) and Saturday Night (9pm-11pm) Sandman also owns and operates the popular website: www.tampahiphop.com and is a member of the mighty BumSquad Djz Crew.
