Description

NoNeed is a five-piece reggae-rock fusion band thriving in Tampa Bay, Florida, but quickly stretching its influence across the state. Rooted in a strong reggae sound, their sound covers a variety of genres, from metal to funk to neofusion jazz to pop. When listening to the band, you'll probably hear influences of pop/punk, jazz, funk and of course reggae, blending all of the guys' various strengths and influences into one amazing and unique style. The band's 4-year history includes some impressive music-making. NoNeed has put out two discs already: Got No Fear (EP), and All That We Are (LP). Often called "road warriors" the boys frequently take mini tours often bringing their music to scenes across Florida, stretching into the south east reggae scene; the fellas average 3 to 5 performances a week. Some of their highlights include their first month long multi-state tour in July of 2015, Chillin' Music Festival (2 years), Earthdance Festival three years at the USF Homecoming Carnival (3 years); the band also won the inaugural USF Ultimate Bull Talent Show in 2013. During this career, they've supported major acts such as O.A.R., Michael Franti & Spearhead, Stephen Marley, Zach Deputy, Ballyhoo!, Stick Figure, and many more! In the next year, NoNeed plans to continue making awesome sounds and sharing their love for music with the state of Florida and beyond. Hungry to hit the road, the boys will be embarking on their second month-long tour stretching to Texas in January
